Approximately 15,000 blood donations are needed daily in Germany to care for sick and injured people. The German Red Cross Blood Donation Service West has made it its mission to contribute to this supply and provide hospitals and medical practices in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland with vital blood products. To this end, we organize daily blood donation drives throughout the region, manage logistical challenges even in disaster situations, and provide expert advice to medical staff as a medical service provider.
